Reporting on HubSpot + Cotonity workflows

Build dashboards and reports that combine Cotonity automation metrics with HubSpot CRM data to measure the full impact of your AI-driven workflows.

Where does reporting data live?

Cotonity and HubSpot each maintain their own reporting data stores. Cotonity tracks workflow execution metrics: runs started, steps completed, errors, average completion time, and outcomes per workflow. HubSpot tracks CRM-side outcomes: contacts created, deals advanced, emails sent, tasks completed, and marketing event attendance. For a complete picture of your automation ROI, you need to connect these two data sources — either by querying both APIs and combining in a BI tool, or by using Cotonity's native HubSpot Reporting Sync to push workflow metrics into custom HubSpot properties.

Cotonity's built-in analytics

The Cotonity Analytics dashboard provides pre-built reports for common KPIs: registrations per event, agent deflection rate, average time to registration, workflow completion rate, and error rate by workflow. Each report can be filtered by date range, workflow, agent, and HubSpot list or segment. Data is refreshed every 15 minutes and retained for 13 months. You can export any report as CSV or connect Cotonity to Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI via the Analytics API for custom visualization.

Pushing Cotonity metrics to HubSpot

Enable HubSpot Reporting Sync in Settings → Analytics to write Cotonity workflow outcomes as custom contact or deal properties in HubSpot. For example, write last_cotonity_event_registered (date), total_events_attended (number), and last_agent_interaction (date) to the contact record after each relevant workflow completes. These properties become available in HubSpot's native report builder, allowing you to correlate AI-assisted interactions with sales pipeline and revenue outcomes without leaving HubSpot.

Building attribution models

Sophisticated marketing teams want to understand how Cotonity-assisted touchpoints influence deal creation and revenue. Use HubSpot's Multi-Touch Revenue Attribution report and ensure that Cotonity-driven touchpoints (form submissions, email clicks, event registrations) are properly tracked as HubSpot engagement activities. Cotonity logs these as HubSpot timeline events when the Timeline scope is granted, making them visible to the attribution engine. Compare first-touch, last-touch, and linear attribution models in HubSpot to quantify the contribution of AI-assisted events to your pipeline.
