Monitor registrations, attendance rates, email engagement, and source attribution from Cotonity's real-time analytics dashboard, with CSV and API export options.
The Event Analytics Dashboard
Every event in Cotonity has a dedicated Analytics dashboard accessible from the event's main page. The overview shows four key metrics at a glance: total page views, registration conversion rate, confirmed registrations, and actual attendance rate (checked-in vs. registered). Below the summary cards, a time-series chart plots registrations over time, helping you see whether most sign-ups come in a rush after an email blast or trickle in gradually. This view is updated in real time, so you can monitor momentum during a live promotion campaign.
Registration Source Tracking
Cotonity automatically appends UTM parameters to your registration page URL when you share it through Cotonity's built-in email campaigns. For links shared externally — on social media, a partner newsletter, or a paid ad — you can manually append UTM parameters to the URL, and Cotonity will capture and attribute registrations to each source. The "Sources" tab in your analytics dashboard breaks down registrations by source, medium, and campaign. This data is invaluable for understanding which promotional channels drive the most registrations and optimizing your marketing spend.
Engagement Metrics for Email Sequences
Cotonity tracks open rates, click rates, and unsubscribe rates for every email in your confirmation and reminder sequences. These metrics appear in the "Emails" analytics panel for each event. If a particular reminder email has an unusually high unsubscribe rate, you can investigate the content and adjust your messaging for future events. Email engagement metrics are also available in aggregate across all your events in the account-level analytics view, letting you benchmark performance over time and identify systemic issues with your email templates.
Exporting Data for Reporting
All analytics data in Cotonity can be exported as CSV files for use in spreadsheets, BI tools, or custom reports. From the Analytics dashboard, click "Export" to download registration data, attendance data, email performance metrics, or feedback survey responses. Exports can be scoped to a single event or across multiple events for a date range. If your organization uses a BI platform like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, Cotonity's API provides programmatic access to the same data, allowing you to build automated reporting pipelines without manual exports.
